Tinubu remains pathfinder of a rare breed -Aregbesola The Governor of Osun, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, on Tuesday described former Governor of Lagos State and a national leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as one rare breed of a pathfinder. Aregbesola, saluting Tinubu on the occasion of his 65th birthday (which comes up today Wednesday) said history has already recorded the former Governor as having found ways where there were none and created opportunities for humanity where many did not see any. South-West, Kwara Assemblies, Senator Laud Oyintiloye on FRCN Award

In separate congratulatory messages through their speakers, the parliament said the honour on Oyintiloye was a well-deserved one. The Federal Government has expressed its readiness to ensure the completion of a good number of federal projects in Osun state. Minister of Power, works and housing, Babatunde Fashola dropped the hint in Osogbo when he paid a working visit to the Osun state governor. He also said, the federal government will raise bonds to assist the state to relief its debt burden. The minister began his working visit to Osun state on inspection note from Ifetedo where he was received by the state delegation led by the permanent secretary of the ministry of work, Nurudeen Adeagbo. His next port of call was the Bisi Akande interchange on the Ibadan-ife express way, one of the federal road interventions by the Aregbesola's administration. The road linking the interchange with the state capital is the Gbongan-Akoda dual carriage being constructed by the state government.
